Firehall No. 17 is the first carbon-zero firehall in Canada.
Located at 7070 Knight Street, the facility underwent a significant renewal, and construction was completed in the spring of 2022.
The expanded facility supports community safety while helping to reduce carbon emissions.

Firehall 17 is a leading example of a highly efficient, all-electric, zero-emissions building. The facility reduces operational carbon emissions by 99.67% from the previous building at that location.
