The City of Vancouver has two locations where you can drop off garbage and recyclable items:

Caution: Enter the Transfer Station and Recycling Depot from the east ONLY. There are no left turns allowed for vehicles coming from the west.

The Vancouver Landfill and Transfer Station accept most payment methods. There are conditions when paying with a cheque or credit card, and when dropping items off using a rental vehicle. Learn more.

Did you know that there are recycling programs run by both companies and non-profit organizations that can help you recycle items that the City does not collect?
These programs are called Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Programs. The City of Vancouver advocates for EPR programs.
