Hard copy candidate lists are available at the Vancouver Election Office, Vancouver Public Library branches External website, opens in new tab, and community centres.
Each position is elected at large, meaning each position represents the city.
Positions are held for a 4-year term.

Information icon If you live in the UBC Lands and University Endowment Lands, and do not own property in Vancouver, you can only vote for school trustees in the election.
Elector organizations
Elector organizations, also called, political parties, promote election candidates.
Elector organizations must register with Elections BC before the Election Office can accept the use of the party name on the ballot during the nomination period.

Capital Plan borrowing questions and plebiscite questions
Voters will vote on 3 questions asking whether the City should borrow funds for some of the major projects outlined in the 2027-2030 Capital Plan.
Voters will also vote on 2 plebiscite questions on a second ballot.
