To conduct a feasibility study and to develop a business plan for the expansion of their facility.

The project includes structural and cosmetic upgrades, flooring upgrades, HVAC, lighting, insulation and drainage.
Carnegie Community Centre Association - $2,300
To hire a consultant to evaluate the theatre and sound room facilities and propose a prioritized plan and cost estimates for improvements.
Carousel Theatre Society (Capital) - $11,500
To implement upgrades to their Granville Island studios, including upgrades to lighting, flooring, and acoustics, as well as the repurposing of ancillary support spaces to enhance community use.

To engage a consultant to explore the feasibility of undertaking improvements to the current layout of the facility including the addition of a third rehearsal hall and a possible expansion of the costume workshop area.

To undertake a due diligence “reality check” phase to ensure that public demand exists and that all resources are in place before beginning the implementation phase of expansion/re-location.
Chinese Cultural Centre of Vancouver - $76,000
To replace the roof on the Centre and implement additional infrastructure upgrades to the David Lam Multipurpose Hall and support spaces, including plumbing and washroom upgrades and painting.

To implement Phase 1 of a three-phase renovation plan to make physical improvements to the front reception area that also includes a bookstore.

To hire a consultant to address the Hall of One Hundred Rivers’ current deficiencies, provide an analysis of current functionality, and identify options and costs to maximize the Hall’s potential.

To explore the feasibility of various scenarios for transferring facility management to a new cultural property management company (created by the theatre collective) that could also operate with a wider mandate to develop and manage creative spaces in Vancouver.

To support the renovation of a 12,000 square foot mid-century warehouse, add a mezzanine and ultimately create a 19,000 square foot arts incubator facility.
Green Thumb Theatre for Young People - $150,000
To convert two heritage buildings on the Sir Guy Carleton School site into accessible dual rehearsal halls, green room and administration offices.
Hard Rubber New Music Society - $10,000
To continue with the next phase of a project to investigate the demand for a dedicated music centre in Vancouver for world, jazz, folk and chamber music. This phase includes a Feasibility Study, Building Program and Operational Plan.
Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver - $33,000
To renovate several spaces in the building and adapt them to professional requirements for dance, including provision of additional rehearsal spaces for professional actors and dancers involved with the Chutzpah! Festival and the Musical Theatre Program Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance!

To create a Heritage Conservation Plan to guide the long term maintenance and preservation of the City’s “house” museum.

To utilize recommendations from a 2008-09 feasibility study, to review the organization’s real estate holdings, and establish long-term planning objectives with an eye to finding a new site or re-developing the current site.
Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre - $10,000
To re-organize and expand the current kitchen and lounge space to allow for greater use and participation by elders, and between elders and youth.
Vancouver Maritime Museum Society - $16,900
To develop plans for the renovation and relocation of its entrance to improve the visitor experience and enhance spaces that generate earned revenues such as the gift shop and venue rentals.
Vancouver Museum Society - $35,000
To articulate a clear vision of what the Museum would look like if it is moved to an optimal location in the city and to define the criteria that would guide site selection.
Vancouver Opera Association - $150,000
To install sound proofing to the rehearsal hall, community meeting room and coaching room, and upgrade the HVAC system.
Vancouver Tap Dance Society - $7,400
To develop a planning document that will guide the organization through much needed upgrades and renovations to the building to ensure its safety and functionality into the future.
Western Front Society - $49,700
To complete technical upgrades to the Grand Luxe Hall, a 120-seat space that is used for performances, recordings, screenings, artist talks, symposia and meetings.
Vancouver Concert Hall and Theatre Society - $22,500 (from Coal Harbour Arts Complex Reserve)
