Granting Assistance to Vancouver's Not-For-Profit Arts & Culture Sector

The City of Vancouver, through Cultural Services, provides assistance to not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations through a number of grants programs for the creation, production and dissemination of work, for organizational development and capacity building, and for capital infrastructure.

      • Community and Neighbourhood Arts Development Program
        Providing grants to community groups to support projects that celebrate and promote Vancouver’s communities and neighbourhoods through arts and cultural activities ranging from amateur to professional practices.

      • Partnership Programs
        Working in partnership to support organizational and artistic development.

      • 2012 Theatre Rental Grants
        Offering financial assistance to off-set the costs of venue rental, to non-profit arts and cultural organizations that present events in one of the Civic Theatres; the Orpheum, Vancouver Playhouse, or Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
        - Next Deadline: November 18, 2011 at 4:30 pm

      • 2012 Cultural Grants Program
        Supporting a range of artistic and cultural activity by providing operational and program assistance.
