14 Sites for Social & Supportive Housing in Vancouver

Welcome to the Housing Centre’s webpage concerning the development of social and supportive housing on 14 City-owned sites. On this site we have provided the staff report (Downloadable PDFPDF, 273KB), dated November 6, 2007, which includes the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the City and the Province. This MOU outlines the Province’s commitments for funding development costs and the City’s commitment to provide land. Twelve sites are covered by this MOU. There are an additional two City-owned sites, 337 W. Pender Street and 1050 Station Street, which are also being developed for social and supportive housing.

Press Release on the MOU (Downloadable PDFPDF, 31KB)

Press Release on the Non-Profit Societies selected to manage the new social & supportive housing (Downloadable PDFPDF, 45KB)
