The Mount Pleasant Community Plan was adopted by City Council on November 18, 2010 to guide future plans, policies, actions, and other initiatives in Mount Pleasant.

Mount Pleasant Community Planning Program

For the first time in 20 years, a new Community Plan is coming to Mount Pleasant. It will deliver updated plans for your shopping areas and residential areas, action plans for pressing social concerns, and longer-term policies to address community-wide issues. Topics will include: safety, traffic, housing, parks, public places, environment, character, culture and heritage. Work Underway

Staff are currently conducting an evaluation of the Community Action Agenda (CAA) that formed the basis for the Social Coordinating Group (SCG). Please visit the SCG homepage to learn more.
