Little Mountain Site Policy Planning Program
The Province of BC, the owner of the 15-acre Little Mountain site, has engaged a development partner, the Holborn Group, to redevelop the site for multiple residential uses including replacement of the existing 224 non-market housing units. The City has embarked on a collaborative planning process with the Riley Park community, the developer, and the Province to develop a vision for Little Mountain. This process follows the terms of the signed between the City and the Province in May 2007 (refer to Resources and Related Links page).
A typical planning program of this size takes approximately one year to complete, followed by a one-year rezoning process (refer to the Process page).
Little Mountain Site
The Little Mountain site is located between Main Street and Ontario Street and 33rd and 37th Avenue (see site plan). This area is part of the Riley Park community.

You are invited to attend two public open houses to provide your input on a development concept by Holborn Properties for the Little Mountain site, located between 33rd and 37th Avenues, and Main and Ontario Streets. City staff, the proponent (Holborn Properties), and representatives from the Community Advisory Group will be available to receive your input and answer any questions.
