Walter Francl Architecture, on behalf of the Executive Group of Companies, has applied to the City of Vancouver to rezone 105-167 West 2nd Avenue from M-2 (Industrial) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal includes three residential towers on a 6-storey podium that includes retail uses at grade and a daycare. Proposed tower heights are 13-storeys (38.4 m), 15-storeys (43.2 m), and 16-storeys (46 m). Rezoning is required to permit residential uses, increased height and the proposed density of 5.41 FSR (floor space ratio). The site is in the Southeast False Creek Official Development Plan (SEFC ODP) area.
This application has been approved by Council at a Public Hearing on July 26, 2011.
