Rezoning and Development Permit Application - 140 West 1st Avenue (DE411503)

GBL Architects, on behalf of Wall Corporation, has applied to the City of Vancouver to amend the existing CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District (462) By-law No. 9594 for 140 West 1st Avenue, to permit the addition of two storeys to the four approved towers, thereby increasing the maximum permitted height from 47 m (154.2 ft.) to 52 m (170.6 ft.), the maximum permitted floor area from 33,150 sq. m (356,835 sq. ft.) to 36,510 sq. m (394,682 sq. ft.), and the floor space ratio (FSR) from 4.72 to 5.19.
This application has been approved by Council at Public Hearing on December 14, 2010 and By-law No. 10228 was enacted at a Regular Council Meeting on March 1, 2011.
