Thind Holdings Ltd. has applied to rezone 2667-2703 Kingsway from C-2 (Commercial) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is for a mixed-use project comprised of two buildings separated by a pedestrian walkway, with a 12-storey component and a 4-storey component, both with commercial uses at grade and residential use on the upper storeys. A total of 129 dwelling units and five levels of underground parking, with a floor space ratio (FSR) of 3.8 (103,132 square feet) are proposed. The height of the 12-storey component would be 118 feet.

This application was approved by Council at Public Hearing on July 12, 2011 and By-law No. 10472 was enacted at a Regular Council Meeting on April 17, 2012.
