Westbank Projects Corp. has applied to the City of Vancouver to rezone 611 Main Street from Historic Area (HA-1A) District to Comprehensive Development (CD-1) District. The proposal is for a 17-storey mixed-use commercial and residential development with an underground parking garage. The proposed development is comprised of 9,225.9 sq. ft. (875.1 sq. m) of ground floor retail, 16 floors of residential with 26 units of seniors housing and 145 units of market housing, and 1,828.9 sq. ft. (169.9 sq. m) of amenity space. The proposal will include 76 parking stalls, two loading spaces (Class B), and 215 bicycle stalls. The proposed floor space ratio (FSR) is 7.88 and height is 150 ft. (45.7 m).
