How to scoot safely in Vancouver

E-scooters are allowed on:

  • Streets marked 50km/hr or less
  • Bike lanes and greenways
  • Seawall or park paths where bikes are allowed

You can't ride on sidewalks or exceed 25km/hr.

Labour Day holiday hours

City Hall will be closed Monday, September 7 for Labour Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:30am.

Selling backyard parking near the PNE

If you live near Hastings Park, you may sell parking spaces in your backyard to PNE Fair visitors if you have a valid backyard parking business licence.

Broadway Subway: W Broadway closed at Cambie

Starting July 20, 2026, Broadway will be closed to vehicles between Alberta and Cambie streets for approximately 6 months.

Transit will be detoured to W 8th Ave. Use alternate routes.
