Note Not all agenda items allow speakers. Check the agenda to find out which items you can sign up to speak about.
- You can submit written comments about any agenda item, even if it doesn't allow speakers. Submit written comments
- You may speak by phone or in person.
- You may not speak at a closed (in-camera) Council meeting.
- Agendas are typically posted 1 week before each Council meeting and 10 days before each public hearing.

November 13, 2025 Public Hearing
You can speak about:
- 1. CD-1 Rezoning: 6486 Chester Street
- 2. CD-1 Rezoning: 2090 West 1st Avenue
- 3. Rezoning: 1401-1455 East 49th Avenue
The deadline to request to speak for the above items is Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 5 pm for online requests and registration from 5:30 pm to 6 pm by calling 604-829-4238. You can also register in person on the day of the hearing, between 5:30 pm and 6 pm at City Hall.
You can also speak to the item by calling in with the number provided on X (previously Twitter) and on the live stream during the meeting.
November 12, 2025 Special Council (2026 Budget)
You can speak about:
- 1. 2026 Capital and Operating Budget
The deadline to request to speak for the above item is Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 5pm. Speakers generally have three minutes to speak to Council.
