Fire incident reports and media requests

The cost of the report varies and depends on the level of detail required in the investigation.

• Reports with photos are a minimum $260 plus GST.
• Motor vehicle incident reports are $130 plus GST.

Note Invoices are mailed separately from the fire incident report.

What to include in your email

• Incident type
• Incident date
• Incident location
• Names of all people involved in the incident, if known
• Fire department case number
• Your file or reference number

What to also include in your email if you're requesting on the behalf of someone

• Signed consent form
• Legal company name
• Your contact information
  • Full mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Email address

Note Reports are released only after all investigations are complete. You can expect to receive your report within 30 days.
