Green Vancouver: Taking bold climate action

We have a long history of climate action. Since the 1990s, Vancouver has been working with the community to address the environmental challenges facing our city. Today, we are widely recognized as one of the most liveable cities in the world and a leader in implementing changes to help us become resilient in the face of the changing crisis.

Working towards a better future

Over the past decade, Vancouver has made some great strides, building community while changing how Vancouverites think about the environment in our city. Building on that progress and learning from our past, Vancouver is continuing to work towards a better future for all.

Together, we can change how we move, how we build and renovate, and how to capture carbon – taking bold climate action while ensuring an equitable transition for all.
