Colin Knight

General Manager, Finance and Supply Chain Management

Colin Knight joined the City in 2014 and became General Manager of Finance and Supply Chain in October, 2024.

Colin has worked with the City of Vancouver for the past 10 years, starting as the Manager, Operating Budgets and progressing through successively senior roles to the position of Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Colin has led his Department and the City through significant financial process improvement while maintaining a positive and collaborative approach to the transformation work.

Prior to joining the City, Colin served as Director, Treasury Board Staff for the Government of BC, supporting complex financial analysis and decision-making across a broad range of government programs. Colin holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Simon Fraser University. He also maintains a professional designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
