Homelessness Action Week Grants

Does your non-profit organization have innovative ideas to build the capacity of individuals and communities to raise awareness about and respond to issues of homelessness in Vancouver?

If so, you may be eligible for a Homelessness Action Week (HAW) Grant.

A limited number of grants are given every year, so see the guidelines below for more information.

Basic eligibility criteria

You can apply for this grant if your organization:

  • Is a Vancouver-based, non-profit, community services organization
  • Has a proven track record for delivering projects, services, or hosting events
  • Designs projects to directly benefit people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness within local neighbourhoods

Events or projects that occur outside of HAW will be considered, however, events or projects occurring during HAW are preferred. HAW occurs annually in mid-October. For the current year's HAW dates, please see the eligibility criteria and application guidelines.
