Still Creek Community Garden relocation

Still Creek Community Garden is currently located at 4410 Kaslo St. Recently, this location was  identified as a potential site for approximately 50 Temporary Modular Housing units as part of the City and Province's commitment to build housing for homeless residents.

The Park Board, in partnership with the City, is working with the gardeners to find a suitable location to relocate the community garden.

We have reviewed Parks and City-owned properties within about 1200 meters of the existing garden and Slocan Park is being considered as a potential option.

Temporary Modular Housing

With VAHA and the BC government, we're building temporary modular housing on vacant and underused sites for homeless residents.

What's happening

Slocan Park is being considered as a potential location for Still Creek Community Garden.

The park is located adjacent to the existing site and beside 29th Ave Skytrain station.
