Commissioner Tricia Barker of the Non-Partisan Association (NPA) party joins the Park Board for her first term. Tricia values the vital role parks play in our everyday life.

Working with older adults and the seniors’ community is close to her heart. She believes this vibrant group needs a strong voice speaking on their behalf. She wants to make our beautiful parks welcoming and safe for everyone’s enjoyment.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Commissioner Barker is a certified personal trainer specializing in seniors who wish to live a healthy and more productive life. She has been involved and sat on the boards of several community organizations, and is also active with various walking and running groups.
