Marketing and canvassing for charity
Non-profit and charitable organizations raising money for a charitable cause need a Soliciting for Charity licence.
Church organizations, religious denominations, or bona fide societies do not need this licence if they seek donations solely from their members.
The licence is valid for the duration of the soliciting activity and expires no later than December 31 of the year it is granted.
