  The arts event licence makes it easier to host pop-up performances in unconventional spaces. 

  Hold events at your location up to three days per month for up to 250 people, depending on the size of your venue.

  Dance events

  Late night dance event

  If your on-location filming will impact public property or the surrounding neighbourhood, you need film activity permit. Each filming location and day requires at least one film activity permit.

  Marketing and canvassing for charity

  Non-profit and charitable organizations raising money for a charitable cause in the Vancouver require a soliciting for charity licence.

  This licence is not required for fund-raising efforts by church organizations, religious denominations, or other bona fide societies where donations are sought solely from members of those organizations or societies.

  Special occasion licence to serve liquor

  The BC Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch regulates special occasion licences for both private and public events, such as weddings, tastings, and community festivals.

  Public special events must be approved by the Vancouver Police Department's Special Occasion Licensing Committee.
