What is a toolkit?
Educational toolkits are available to help businesses, charities, and not-for-profits inform staff and customers of the single-use item by-law requirements.
Toolkit materials include a by-law guide, FAQs, posters, till toppers, menu icon, stickers, window decals, and flexible plastic straws.
Download toolkit materials based on your needs.
All materials are available in print except for the menu icon.
Printed toolkit materials and sample flexible plastic straws are available by mail for businesses, charities, and not-for-profits located in Vancouver.
You may request complete toolkits, customized toolkits, or both, in the languages you choose.
Complete toolkits include a by-law guide and all the FAQs, posters, till toppers, stickers, and window decal, plus 5 sample flexible plastic straws that meet the plastic straw by-law requirements for accessibility.
Customized toolkits include only the materials you choose.
To request printed materials, click on “Order toolkits” and complete the order form. Your order will be mailed within 5 business days. In the spirit of zero waste, please order only what you will use.
