Small grants for cultural spaces

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) update: status of Cultural Spaces Grants

April 3, 2020: We're currently reviewing submitted Cultural Infrastructure Grants and Small Grants for Cultural Spaces, and preparing the Affordable Cultural Spaces grant stream, in light of COVID-19. We'll share details in the coming weeks.

We're providing funding up to $25,000 for arts and culture space-related projects including:

  • Planning and research
  • Minor capital or infrastructure projects
  • Mentorships and capacity building

Our goal is to invest in existing and future capital assets consistent with Culture|Shift: Blanketing the City in Arts and Culture, Vancouver’s Culture Plan for 2020-2029, and Making Space for Arts and Culture, Vancouver’s Cultural Infrastructure plan.
