COVID-19 update: BC Restart - step 3

July 1, 2021: Step 3 of BC Restart is underway and we are moving forward with full programming for community centres, including:

  • Easing of physical distancing measures
  • Gradual and phased re-implementation of pre-pandemic operations and full recreational programming
  • Elimination of one-way traffic flow and re-introduction of lobby and social seating
  • Phased increased occupancy for pools, fitness centres, and rinks

Mask wearing

As of July 1, 2021, We are aligning to the provincial guidelines for mask wearing. The use of masks is recommended indoors for people 12 years of age and older and who are not yet fully vaccinated.

Staff and the public may wish to continue wearing a mask for some time – please respect this choice and be aware of other's personal spaces

Douglas Park Community Centre — located at 801 West 22nd Avenue — has activities and programs for all ages.

We have a pottery studio, teen/youth centre, childcare, and a fitness room. Outside, there is a tennis court, sports fields, and a wading pool.
