  Note Each ice rink has a limited number of skate rentals and helmets available for public skates and Park Board skate lessons. Helmets are free of charge.

  Helmet policy for skating activities

  Anyone participating in skating classes, lessons, and programs must wear a CSA-certified hockey or snowboard helmet. You are also encouraged to wear a helmet at public skate times.

  Note Cycling helmets are not permitted.
