Enjoy baseball, softball, and kids' t-ball in the city. You can sign up for lessons, join a team or league, find a baseball diamond, or watch the Vancouver Canadians play at Nat Bailey Stadium.

Many community centres offer classes and programs to learn the game and improve skills.

Join a baseball team or league

Most leagues are maintained by organizations that are affiliated with Sport BC. SportBC can help you find a club, league, or team in  your area.

In addition, information about local teams and clubs that are looking for players can be found in the sport's "Game Summary" section of the Vancouver Sun or The Province newspapers.

We have 153 playing fields ranging from regulation-size grass fields and synthetic turf to gravel fields.

 

Challenger Baseball Diamond at Hillcrest Park

Challenger Baseball Diamond at Hilcrest Park in VancouverChallenger Baseball provides children with physical and cognitive disabilities an opportunity to play baseball.

The baseball diamond features:

  • All-weather synthetic turf infield
  • Wheelchair-accessible surfaces
  • Shorter distances between bases
  • Flat bases and pitching mounds as graphic elements, not raised
  • Large dugouts and scorer's shelter for wheelchairs and other mobility devices

Challenger Baseball teams have priority use of this field, although regular Little League play is available with a second set of bases.
