The Vancouver Park Board has received a proposal from the Ireland Canada Monument Society External website, opens in new tab to install a monument in George Wainborn Park that honours the contributions of Irish Canadians to Canada.
The non-profit society has committed to funding the monument and their proposal follows our donation process for monuments and memorials.
