Launch Pad

What you need to know

Launch Pad is an initiative by the Public Art Program to provide a platform for a diverse range of emerging artists, including those from the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, to step into the dynamic field of public art.

This current series, started in December 2025, will feature the works of 15 recent graduates over the next half year on 5 billboard spaces along the Arbutus Greenway, between Fir Street and Burrard Street on West 6th Avenue. These exhibitions will rotate, with each series displayed for approximately 6 weeks.
