Non-market housing

The Vancouver Affordable Housing Endowment Fund (VAHEF) is our non-market housing portfolio. It was set up in early 2021 with a mandate to preserve and grow affordable housing in a sustainable way.

Our non-market housing portfolio has more than 250 City-owned sites in Vancouver with over 13,000 units of non-market housing created in partnership with senior government, non-profit housing societies, and housing co-operatives.
