These grants are anticipated to fund small capital projects for existing buildings and amenities, while improving livability, connection, and the overall wellness of residents, by supporting projects that:
- Beautify through upgrades or design features
- Improve functionality
- Complement existing facilities
- Enhance shared spaces and amenities
What is supportive housing
Supportive housing refers to subsidized rental units operated by non-profit providers who offer on-site support and referrals to stabilized housing.
Individuals who may benefit from these services are:
- Those with low incomes
- Those with a need for some support services to live independently
- Those at risk of or coming out of homelessness.
