The Killarney Seniors Centre provides southeast Vancouver’s growing senior population with opportunities for socializing, healthy meals, and physical activity, which play a key role in keeping seniors healthy and independent.
Funding for the $7.5 million centre came from the Government of Canada, Government of British Columbia, and City of Vancouver. The Vancouver Park Board provided the land. The Killarney Community Centre Society has been a key supporter of the project.
The centre officially opened in June 2018.
