Supporting and celebrating women in our communities

Mayor and Council are committed to making Vancouver a place where all women and girls have full access to the range of services and resources provided by the City.

Latest updates

In 2023, we invested $1.1 million in grant funding into 19 women-serving organizations through our Social Policy grants program.

We also make sure that all women have opportunities to fully participate in the political, economic, cultural and social life of Vancouver.

To recognize and celebrate the important role women play in our community – and promote equality – we have initiated several programs.
