Meeting frequency

The committee meets 4 times per year.

Membership

The Noise Management Committee is made up of representatives of the following groups and organizations:

• Airlines and aircraft operators
• Air navigation services
• Citizens of surrounding communities
• Federal, provincial, and  municipal governments
• First Nations
• The health authority
• Industry associations
• Vancouver International Airport Authority

Members

Vancouver has 2 citizen representatives on the committee. They are appointed by City Council, and serve 2 to 4-year terms.
