COVID-19 update: Evelyne Saller Centre

July 15, 2020: Programming remains limited and will gradually be restored in-line with public health guidelines. We're currently offering:

Meal service:

  • 10am to noon
  • 1pm to 2:30pm
  • 3pm to 5:30pm

Hand-washing and sanitizing options are provided before and after receiving meals.

Shower service daily:

  • Monday to Friday:
    • First shower: 10:15am
    • Last shower: 6:30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday:
    • First shower: 10:15am
    • Last shower: 5:45pm

Sign up is required.

Washrooms are available from 9:15am to 7:30pm.

Laundry service Monday to Friday:

  • Dropoff:
    • 9:15am to 10am
    • 12:15pm to 1pm
  • Pickup:
    • 12:30pm to 1pm
    • 2:30pm to 3pm
    • 5pm to 7:45pm
  • Limit: 40 loads per day

Drop in space:

  • 9:15am to noon
  • 1pm to 4pm
  • 5pm to 7:45pm

The Evelyne Saller Centre cafeteria is open seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our cafeteria provides hot meals with a different menu each day.

Cost and payments

A full course breakfast, lunch, or dinner costs $2.00 per meal. Get extra portions for an additional price.

Pay for your meals with cash or prepay by adding money to a client meal account. Clients on social assistance can set up a monthly account through the Ministry of Human Resources.

If you would like to set up a food account or need more information about our meal services, please contact the Centre from Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm.

Thursday 13 Hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and french fries Chicken caccitore with wild rice and carrots
Friday 14 Burrito with salsa, sour cream, Mexican rice, and green salad Roasted pork loin with apple sauce, mashed potatos and broccoli
Saturday 15 Cabbage roll with pan fried potato and carrots Chicken with broccoli and cheese, whole grain rice, and green beans
Sunday 16 Chicken pot pie with mashed potato and wax beans Hungarian beef stew with roasted potatos and mixed vegetables
