Annual maintenance closure

Hillcrest pool, sauna, and steam room will be closed from Monday, May 5 to Sunday, June 29 for our annual maintenance. 

It will re-open on Monday, June 30.

The fitness centre will be open during this time but there will not be access to changing facilities or showers. 

The fitness centre will be closed from May 19 to 25.

Expect parking impacts at Hillcrest Centre

While upgrades are completed at Nat Bailey Stadium, access to parking will be limited.

Construction is anticipated to be completed in February 2026.

Hillcrest Centre, located near Queen Elizabeth Park, has activities and programs for all ages and abilities.

We have an aquatic centre, fitness centre, ice rink, gymnasium, indoor cycling, multi-purpose rooms, a games room, dance studio, playgrounds, childcare centre, and café.

Our award-winning complex is a Vancouver Green City facility and is certified as LEED Gold.

Fitness centre

Our naturally-lit exercise room includes cardio and weight-training machines, free weights, exercise props, and equipment for adapted fitness.

Hillcrest Aquatic Centre

Hillcrest Aquatic Centre is an indoor/outdoor pool with a slide, steamroom, hotpool, and more.

Hillcrest Rink

Ice skate on Hillcrest Rink all year. The rink has an ice surface of 200 feet x 85 feet and seating for 400 people.

Riley Park Hillcrest Community Association

The Hillcrest Centre is jointly operated by the Vancouver Park Board and the Riley Park Hillcrest Community Association (RPHCA).

The RPHCA provides direction, develops programs and builds policy that reflect the wishes, needs and concerns of the Riley Park neighbourhood.
