Note: Temporary Resident Parking Permits cannot be purchased in advance and are only valid at time of issuance for the specified dates. The cost of the temporary pass is $11.20 (including HST) per week.

If the rental or courtesy car is replacing a car that has a valid decal on it, there will be no charge. | |

Non-Residents - Temporary Permits Info
Note: Temporary Resident Parking Permits cannot be purchased in advance and are only valid at time of issuance for the specified dates. In certain instances, permits can be issued to vehicles not registered to a resident of the permit zone. However, the permit is issued on the resident's behalf, and the resident is responsible for the permit. The cost of the temporary pass is $11.20 (including HST) per week.

| Out of town visitors: $11.20 per week for Visitors from outside the Greater Vancouver area may be issued a temporary permit for the duration of their stay up to three months with a resident of a permit zone. | We require the vehicle registration of the visitor, showing the vehicle plate and a residence outside the Lower Mainland, along with two items of residential ID from their host, one of which must be recently dated. The permit is intended for a single visit and cannot be issued to cover multiple visits for a single visitor. The permit is assigned to the plate shown on the out of town insurance and is not transferable. | |

Construction or other service work on a residence in a permit zone (plumbing, electrical work, painting, etc.): $5.60 per day, the temporary permit can be obtained by the resident or contractor in the event that all required documentation is provided. |

The construction permits are intended for renovations on individual residential households only and are valid from 7am-8pm. These permits are not for commercial development. |
