                  - Mattress & box springs (recycling fee): $15 per piece

The Vancouver South Transfer Station, Recycling Depot and Yard Trimmings Drop-off is located at 377 West Kent Avenue North in Vancouver.

NOTE: Enter Recycling Depot and Transfer Station from the EAST only! There is a left turn prohibition coming from the west.

What's New - Record:

The following list provides a record of past updates for customers of the Vancouver Landfill and Vancouver South Transfer Station, which are still applicable.

Suspect Asbestos-Containing Materials

Acoustic ceiling tiles, blown-in insulation and vermiculite insulation are not accepted at the Vancouver South Transfer Station (VSTS). These materials may contain asbestos and can be disposed of at the Vancouver Landfill in accordance with the Asbestos Policy. See the 'Suspect Asbestos Containing Materials' section.

All other types of insulation, i.e. fibreglass, must be double bagged for disposal at the VSTS. Max. 10 bags per load.
