Green Streets

Welcome to Vancouver's Green Streets Program

Become a volunteer street gardener in your neighbourhood by tending a traffic circle or corner bulge garden. Green Streets gardeners beautify Vancouver’s streets, personalize neighbourhoods and foster a sense of community pride and ownership which ultimately benefits the entire city. Learn more about Green Streets.

Boulevard Gardening

Boulevard gardening is not part of the Green Streets Program; however, it is allowed within certain guidelines. See Guidelines for Planting City Boulevards.

Have you seen crows, skunks or raccoons digging up your lawn or boulevard? If so, then you may have an infestation of the European Chafer Beetle. For further information, visit the Vancouver Park Board's Pest Problems webpage.
