The City of Vancouver's Green Streets Program offers Vancouver's residents an opportunity to become volunteer street gardeners in their neighbourhoods by sponsoring a traffic circle or corner bulge garden. This creates not only a more colourful and interesting street and a more personalized neighbourhood, but also encourages and promotes a sense of community pride and ownership which ultimately benefits the entire city. Interested in becoming a Green Street Gardener? It′s a great opportunity to engage in your community. By extending your garden beyond your front gate, you can add colour and a personal touch to your street for all to enjoy.
Before registering for a Green Street garden, read the gardening guidelines and the frequently asked questions. When you are familiar with what it means to be a Green Street gardener, fill out an on-line application . Boulevard Gardening
