Glossary

Corridor – a tract of land for passage of vehicles and/or people. Examples include roads and rail lines for moving people and goods, transit ways (buses and light rail) for moving people, and pathways for moving people.

Greenway – in Vancouver, a public corridor for pedestrians and cyclists that connects parks, nature reserves, cultural features, historic sites, neighbourhoods and/or retail areas.

Mode share – the percentage share that a particular type of transportation mode has in relation to other modes
