Bicycle routes: Sunrise Bikeway

The Sunrise bikeway is a north/south route located in the eastern part of the city. A cyclist can ride right across town from the Fraser River to Burrard Inlet on this route. This bikeway also marks Vancouver's 100th kilometer of bikeway with commemorative monuments in the traffic circles at Slocan/Adanac, Slocan/5th, Earles/43rd and at 51st/Vivian.

The south end of the Sunrise Bikeway connects to the recreational bike paths of the Fraser Lands. The bikeway also intersects the Ridgeway, Midtown, BC Parkway and Adanac Bikeways with a connection at the north end to the Portside Bikeway and Trans Canada Trail.
