Get out and cycle!
With the new Dunsmuir Viaduct, Dunsmuir Street, Burrard Bridge and Hornby separated bike lanes in place, getting Downtown to work, shop or visit continues to become easier and more enjoyable. Learn more about the changes on these streets.
What are separated bike lanes?
Separated bike lanes are routes where cyclists are physically separated from traffic by a barrier. The lanes create more protection and make cyclists feel safer – especially less experienced riders – and encourage more people to get out of their cars and onto bikes into downtown.
