Projects and categories you can nominate
Nominees
You can nominate up to five individuals or organizations who contributed to the success of a project.
Projects
The project needs to have:
- Been completed between February 2015 and January 2023
- Not received a City of Vancouver Heritage Award

Living heritage
For projects that highlight the self-expressed heritage of Vancouver's communities, or for projects that support reconciliation, cultural redress, or safeguarding or regeneration of living heritage

Heritage conservation
For the restoration, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse or continued maintenance of buildings, structures, cultural landscapes, or other natural features, including seismic or sustainability upgrades

Education and awareness
For the use of a publication, exhibit, activity, social media, or website to promote tangible or intangible heritage, or celebrate diverse cultures and histories
What happens next?
We email the nominees to inform them that they have been nominated for an award.
Our jury will review the completed nominations in March 2023. We will honour the nominees selected for awards at the awards ceremony in late April or early May.
