Spring tree sale

The Park Board tree sale is intended for Vancouver residents to enhance our urban forest. $10 trees will be available online for purchase starting Tuesday, April 30.

Pre-ordered tree(s) will be ready for pick-up on:

When: Saturday, May 11, 10am to 4pm and Sunday, May 12, 10am to 2pm

Where: Nat Bailey Stadium overflow parking lot

  • Vehicle access is off of Midlothian Ave (between W 29th and E 33rd)
  • Pedestrian and cyclist access – 4601 Ontario St (between E 33rd and E 30th Ave)

 A selection of unclaimed or unpurchased trees will be available for cash sale onsite on Sunday, May 12 from 2pm to 4pm. 

Green treeWhat you need to know before you purchase or pick up your tree

  • Trees are only available to residents of  Vancouver, with a maximum of three trees per household
  • Proof of Vancouver residency must be provided at the time of purchase to be eligible for a tree rebate
  • Receipts can be presented via mobile phone or print out
  • Cash sales of a limited number of unclaimed trees will begin at 2pm on Sunday
  • If you have purchased a tree and it is not picked up by 2pm, you risk forfeiting it to cash sale with no refund
  • If you purchased a tree by mistake, email PBTree@vancouver.ca to get a refund

 Trees available through the tree sale are not suitable as replacement trees as required by tree removal permits.

Tree rebates available

If you’re unable to participate in the online sale and pick up, you can visit a participating nursery and get $20 off a tree valued at $50 or greater. Check out Figaro’s Garden External website, Hunter’s Garden Centre External website, or Gardenworks External website Lougheed and Mandeville locations for their selections.

Buy your tree online in advance starting April 30 and pick it up at Nat Bailey Stadium parking lot on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12.
