What's happening Mount Pleasant's newest park is officially open
The plants are flowering and the bees are buzzing.
Main and 7th Park is a valuable community space for Mount Pleasant and greatly improves the neighbourhood’s urban ecological health.
With extensive tree canopy, permeable surfaces, and a large rain garden, the park filters and slows rainwater from the nearby roadways and hardscape areas before it enters the storm water system.
Note The canopy will remain partially closed while the last few metal panels are fabricated and attached.
