Youth Week

Youth Week is an annual celebration of youth talents, involvement, and diversity across BC.

Extended Youth Week

This year, we have extended Youth Week events to occur between April 25 to May 8, 2026.

Along with your great ideas for local Vancouver Youth Week events, there will also be exciting free events happening across the city, from sports tournaments to video games. Youth are encouraged to take part and enjoy all the festivities.

Youth Week Kickoff Fest

Queer party and social gathering for Youth Week

When: Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
Location: False Creek Community Centre
Ages: 13 to 18 years

Free for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies to drop-in.

Join the Queer Inclusion team and community youth workers for a 2SLGBTQIA+ celebration of Youth Week.

This after-hours takeover will include a pizza dinner at 5:30pm, then games, crafting, Queeraoke, and pure queer joy for the remainder of the night.

It’s time for the annual tournament once again. All teams must have a mixed-gender component. Snack, prizes, and a chance at immortality.

Building a Better Tomorrow Through Art — A Vancouver Park Board and Roundhouse partnership

When: April 29 to May 7, 2026
Location: Exhibition Hall, Roundhouse Arts and Recreation Centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews
Roundhouse operating hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 9:45pm, Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 4:45pm

Building a better tomorrow through art exhibition is an opportunity for multiple schools across Burnaby, New Westminster, and the Vancouver school district to connect, create, and build a platform to showcase artwork by students with disabilities and diverse abilities.
