    VanDusen houses a significant sculpture collection, featuring artists such as Bill Reid, David Marshall, and Sebastian. The International Sculpture Symposium, held here in 1975, created 11 original works to begin the permanent collection.

Sakura Days Japan Fair

April 15 and 16, 2023

The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival returns to VanDusen Botanical Garden for Sakura Days Japan Fair this spring. 

Participate in a traditional tea ceremony, try Japanese festival food, sample premium sake, learn new Japanese games, and enjoy a range of cultural performances. Discover a wide variety of vendors and exhibits.

Special event rates are in effect April 15 and 16. All guests must purchase an event ticket to enter the garden, including VBGA members.

VanDusen Botanical Garden spans 55 acres and contains over 7,500 plant species from around the world.
