Granville Street transit improvements

We're working with TransLink to improve bus service on Granville Street between 5th Avenue and SW Marine Drive. These upgrades support bus routes 10, 16, 100, and night routes N10, N9, and N17.

Granville St between W 12 Ave and W 15th Ave

Granville St between W 16th Ave and W 57th Ave

  • Existing bus lane hours will be extended to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Installation is expected to start in February and complete in April.
  • Crews will update curbside regulation signs and install new overhead bus lane signs on trolley poles. Once signage is installed, curbside parking will be restricted and general traffic will not be permitted to travel in the bus lanes. 

Granville St between W 57th Ave and SW Marine Dr 

  • Existing bus lane hours will be extended to weekday peak periods (7am to 10am and 3pm and 7pm). Installation is expected in spring 2026.
