Masumi Mitsui Greenway

North Arm Trail

The image shows one of the parts of the Masumi Mitsui Greenway that has been revised.

The Masumi Mitsui Greenway (formerly North Arm Trail Greenway) will link pedestrians and cyclists with parks, schools and local shopping areas and provides efficient bike travel to regional destinations in Vancouver and Burnaby.

This 8 km Greenway / Bikeway will also connect major bus routes, bike routes, and four other greenways.

Greenway location

The Masumi Mitsui Greenway primarily runs along 59th Avenue from Angus Drive to Argyle Drive. East of Argyle Drive, the route follows a number of local streets as it works its way to Vivian Drive.

Destinations

Along the Masumi Mitsui Greenway, you will find:

  • Institutional sites including Langara College, the Marpole-Oakridge Community Centre, several elementary and secondary schools, and the Pearson Hospital
  • Woodland and green spaces in Everett Crowley Park, the largest remaining urban ravine and remnant urban woodland at Fraserview Golf Course, the Langara Golf Course, and a number of smaller parks
  • Views of the river, the delta, and on a clear day views to the Olympic Peninsula and Mount Baker
